About this event
A free, behind-the-scenes open rehearsal of the Detroit Symphony Orchestra's Songs of America program, celebrating America's 250th Anniversary with vocalists Melinda Doolittle and Jimmie Herrod. Designed for individuals on the autism spectrum and those with sensory sensitivities. Features limited audience size, low lighting, flexible seating, noise-cancelling headphones and fidget tools, a quiet space for breaks, and pre-rehearsal hands-on activities from 9-10 AM. Staff trained by the Mid-Michigan Autism Association.
